Bargains are abundant at this multicultural mall and food court. Anchored by Marshall's, Galeria features clothing and sporting goods, electronics, and specialty goods. Approximately 80 stores are sprinkled around this downtown shopping center, including The Dollar Depot, Computer Stop, Mina Clothing of New York, Benneton Factory Outlet, and Brahams Outlet. Although the mall has no fixed hours, people lucky enough to find it open will find it packed with visitors from South America, Europe, and other lands. Most of the shopkeepers speak Spanish or Portuguese. Amid the flood of VCRs and knockoff Rolexes, is a small gem of a food court. This is the real Miami - the crossroads of the Americas. Not much English is spoken here. But there's plenty of great food from around the world. The dozen ethnic kiosks brim with authentic fast food. In this food heaven you can get Colombian empanadas, Brazilian grilled meats, Jewish bagels, Chinese noodles, and Middle-Eastern tabouleh. Vegetarians will delight in the Indian vegetable curries and sauteed cabbage available at Raja's. Meals run around $5. Conveniently located on busy Flagler Avenue, just a couple of blocks from Biscayne Boulevard and close to South American Way, Galeria International Mall is part of the huge Downtown Miami Shopping District.
